Derek Cheong, the chef behind Twelve Flavours, has started his pursuit of culinary excellence at a young age. He started learning cooking through YouTube as well as cookbooks from professional chefs.

Being an engineer, his hunger for technical knowledge for food has pushed him to tread deeper into the trenches of culinary arts. 

Great passion coupled with strong determination led to the creation of Twelve Flavours, an outlet for Derek to express his culinary identity.

After being crowned the winner of MasterChef Singapore Season 2, Derek secured a gig at World's 50 Best 2019 ranked number 1 Restaurant, Mirazur, as a chef where he got exposed to new techniques and new ingredients.


SEASONAL MENU PRICED AT $150 per pax for 6 courses



  •  Dinner commences between 7:30pm to 8:00pm.

  • The whole session may take up to 4 hours and may be delayed due to late arrivals.

  • A refundable deposit of $150 is required upon confirmation of desired slot which will be held for 24 hours till deposit is received.

  • Full payment will be required two week prior to your reservation date. 

  • Any cancellation or reduction of guests in the same week will not be eligible for refund.

  • Noise levels to be kept at a reasonable limit at all times.

  • We are unable to provide for vegetarian/vegan dietaries at the moment.

  • Each reservations requires a minimum of 4 guests.

  • We do not provide wines so feel free to BYOB with no corkage fee.

  • Reservations for November will be released 1 October 2021 12:00pm.

  • Calendar for reservations is live and any reservations will be reflected.
